Stem Cell Research Funding and Ethics
Because it is such an important type of research there are many institutions and organizations that provide stem cell research funding. They provide the funding in hopes that researchers will be able to make new discoveries about stem cells and how they can be used to gain a better understanding of diseases and to create new therapies to treat them. Even though there is much debate about how ethical this type of research is, many individuals are in favor of allowing it as they feel that the benefits far outweigh any negatives and are hoping that it will be the key to finding a cure to many different types of diseases and conditions.
