We Think We Can Get By
My husband is just not as young as he used to be. He is starting to have problems with his knees and back. It’s not at all surprising, as he’s spent most of his life doing some pretty serious physical labor. However, he can’t keep doing that forever. We do have assets and possibilities, but it’s been hard to free those up for basic living expenses. We might have found the solution in equity release schemes. We can take our home and property and keep a lump sum payment in exchange for the equity in the home. That should be enough to get by for quite awhile.
