What I Learned From The Debt Consolidator

Once I took this class in finance at a junior college. I was trying to get a loan for a house, and wanted to understand the basics before I jumped in without looking and got robbed blind. I learned most from the guy sitting next to me. He was training to be a debt consolidator, and had to take the class as part of his certification. He had to learn all about credit card debt, bank refinancing, and all kinds of other financial terms that give me a headache. I eventually did get the loan for my house, which tripled in value over the next several years. Good thing I sat next to that guy on the way there.
