Rotary Actuators, Keeping It Clear.
Ok, I have learned about line actuators, hydraulic actuators, and even limitorque actuators. now it is time to write about the rotary actuators. These are by far the most interesting, at least to me. They allow more movement, and are used in many things that we use today, without any thought whatsoever. One use is the copier, now who would have thought? They are also used on printers and they are the reason that you windshield wipers can wipe the rain off of your windshield. Ir it rotates, it probably has one of these guys helping it along with its job.
