Obviously podiatrists get their degree in Podiatry Schools. They are most stand alone private colleges In the USA, some with University affiliations. They are fully fledged departments in Universities in the UK, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. The entry criteria for Podiatry Schools do vary around the world, with the USA requiring an undergraduate degree, making their course a postgraduate one. The rest of the world does not require an undergraduate degree; however, the scope of practice of podiatry in those countries is very different to the USA. In a lot of those countries the advanced practice study is carried out after graduation.
