I Love Visiting My Aunt But I Am Allergic to Her Dogs
I love going to spend time with my elderly Aunt Beth, but I do have problems being in her home. Aunt Beth loves having pets around. Currently she has three dogs and four cats and some rodents that she keeps in cages. I think there’s a big fish tank and a reptile cage too. As a child I found her menagerie fascinating. As an adult who has developed dog skin allergies, I find a visit to be sheer misery. My solution has been to invite my aunt out to lunch or dinner. She loves being treated to a meal at a restaurant, and I can avoid all her pets.
