Dedicated Gardeners Can Defeat Tomato Disease

Although a fresh, ripe tomato is one of nature’s most cherished treat for many vegetable gardeners, it is not always an easy road to be able to enjoy this summer fruit.  On top of navigating sometimes difficult weather conditions, gardeners must be on the lookout for all kinds of tomato diseases, which can strike and ruin an entire crop.  Watching leaves and fruits for any signs of disease is imperative in prevention, as is planting varieties that are resistant to local strains of diseases.  When proper attention is paid to the garden, many diseases can be overcome, but it requires a vigilant eye and dedicated gardener to truly grow a special tomato crop.
