The Size of Volleyball Courts
A place where volleyball is played, a volleyball court has two types, namely an indoor volleyball court and an outdoor volleyball court. The two types of volleyball court dimensions have the same measurements.
The standard length of the court is 59 feet while the standard width is 29.5 feet. The court is divided into two sides. At the middle of the court is a net that has a width of 3.33 feet.
For men’s tournaments, the net has a height of 7 feet and 11 5/8 inches. For women’s tournaments, the net’s height is 7 feet and 4 1/8 inches. Surrounding each side of the court is a free zone that has a minimum width of 9.84 feet.
