Be My Funny Valentine
My gorgeous, usually unromantic partner just outdid himself this Valentine’s Day. Approaching six years together I don’t remember ever receiving a present, or even really celebrating. Well this year he surprised me with not one but two gifts. Both beautiful things that we had observed in the window of our favourite local shop and unbenownst to me he’d gone back and bought. It was terribly exciting for me. It was beautifully unexpected. I felt a little caught short not having got him anything so I took him to one of the new tapas restaurants in Concord for dinner. Well actually the only Tapas restaurant in Concord. The food was superb and thankfully made up for my lack of a gift.
