Chilblains

There are many symptoms that could happen to the feet in cold weather. The single most wide-spread is without question chilblains. These happen when the lower limb becomes cool and it is warmed up too rapidly. This results in failures of the actual blood flow as well as the piling up of waste elements within the epidermis with the foot. The waste products cause an inflamation related effect providing a uncomfortable effect in the skin. They start off as red as well as scratchy after which progress into a dark bluish coloring. The most effective cure regarding chilblains is always to keep your feet warm and not let it to become cold from the start.
